Most cracked and pirated versions of the sims 4 will not have a mods folder in my documents (in fact no sims 4 folder at all) and you need to contact the person where you got the pirated game from Im not saying it is pirated but people sometimes fudge the truth.
A few days ago we wrote about the highly anticipated Multiplayer Mod for The Sims 4 which has been in development for about 2 years now. The creator of this mod known as thepancake1 has finally released the mod to the general public, allowing you to set up the mod, configure the server and play The Sims 4 with your friends – together.
Down below we have a download link for starter files that you need to have in your Mods folder before proceeding with the Mod installation. For further information on how to set up the relations between a host and a client, as well as some other server configurations, refer to the linked Discord categories below.
Download The Sims 4 Multiplayer Mod from GitHub. The mod may get occasional updates so it’s good to keep checking the page (and the Discord server linked above) for any potential future updates. After downloading, extract the .zip content to Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods folder. Make sure you have both Mods and CC enabled in your Sims 4 game options, as well as that you’ve enabled Script mods in the options.

Installation
Information & Updates
The process of installing custom content in The Sims 4 is relatively easy. This detailed tutorial will show you all the necessary steps for using the houses and lots that you have downloaded from our site.
Most downloaded files will be in a compressed format such as .rar. You will needWinRARor7-zipfor this, so get one of them if you haven't already. Both programs are free to download.
To decompress the file, right click it and select Extract Here.
Step 2: Installing the FilesForHouses/Lots - You should place the files in to the Tray folder, which can be found atDocuments»Electronic Arts»The Sims 4»Tray.
Example of file formats that can be found inside the Tray folder are.blueprint, .bpi,.trayitem,.roomand.householdbinary.
Custom Contentfiles (CC) - You should place the files in to the Mods folder located atDocuments»Electronic Arts»The Sims 4»Mods.
Files in.packageformat should be placed inside the Mods folder. You will also see a config file namedResource.CFG, which basically allows users to add third-party content.
That's it. After you copied the files in their designated folder, the downloaded content are ready and now available for use in game. You don't have to restart the game every time you install a new creation. Simply refresh your Library and it will appear right away.
MoveObjects On - Some house creations require this script in order to place the lot properly. You can download itHERE. To install, simply copy 'tmex-moveobjects.zip' into the Mods folder. Do not extract or unzip. To enable, go to game options > other > and check the Script Mod box and restart TS4. It is on by default but you can use the command 'tm.moveobjects off' to disable it.
Step 3: Placing the House
Open theGallery(F4 key shortcut) and select theMy Librarytab. On the left side of the screen, look forAdvancedmenu and make sure that theInclude Custom Contentbox has a check mark in it to see creations that include CC.

Now all you need to do is place the house on a lot and your Sims can now move in. You need to be inBuild Modein order to do this. Also, be sure to have sufficient funds (if lot is occupied by household) and the required lot area.
You can place the new house in to a vacant land or replace an entire existing home.
And that’s a wrap! I hope you enjoyed this guide, and learned how to install custom content in The Sims 4. Don't forget to check out our collection of awesome looking residential houses and community lots.
